1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Aurelion," "we," "our," "us" refers to the luxury car rental service operating at 176 Orchard Road, #09-08, Singapore 238843
• "Renter," "you," "your" refers to the individual or entity renting a vehicle from Aurelion
• "Vehicle" refers to any motor vehicle provided by Aurelion under a rental agreement
• "Rental Period" refers to the time between vehicle pickup and return as specified in the rental agreement
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with the rental contract

2. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, accessing, or using any vehicle from Aurelion, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not proceed with a rental.

These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aurelion. You must be at least 25 years of age and legally capable of entering into binding contracts under Singapore law.

3. Rental Requirements

3.1 Driver Eligibility

To rent a vehicle, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age
• Hold a valid driver's license (Singapore license, international driving permit, or recognized foreign license)
• Provide valid identification (passport or national ID card)
• Present a valid credit card in your name for security deposit
• Complete our rental application and provide accurate information

3.2 License Verification

We reserve the right to verify your driver's license validity and driving record. We may decline rental if your license status is unclear or if you have a history of serious traffic violations.

4. Booking and Payment

4.1 Reservation

Bookings can be made by contacting our team directly. Reservations are subject to vehicle availability. We recommend advance booking of 48 hours for Classic Touring Sedans, one week for Sports Grand Touring, and two weeks for Collector's Reserve vehicles.

4.2 Pricing and Fees

Rental fees are stated in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include:

• Daily rental rate as specified for the chosen vehicle program
• Comprehensive insurance coverage meeting Singapore legal requirements
• Specified mileage allowance (200-300 km per day depending on program)
• Program-specific amenities as described

4.3 Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit is required and varies by vehicle program. The deposit is held on your credit card and released within 14 days of vehicle return, subject to inspection confirming no damage or violations.

4.4 Additional Charges

You may incur additional charges for:

• Mileage exceeding daily allowance (SGD 2-4 per kilometer depending on vehicle)
• Late return (hourly rate calculated from daily rate)
• Fuel replacement if not returned with agreed level
• Cleaning fees for excessive dirt or interior soiling
• Traffic violations, parking fines, or toll charges incurred during rental
• Damage to vehicle beyond normal wear and tear

5. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

5.1 Authorized Use

The vehicle may only be used:

• By the named renter or authorized additional drivers listed in the agreement
• On properly maintained roads in Singapore and authorized border crossings to Malaysia (with advance approval)
• For personal or business purposes as stated in the rental agreement
• In compliance with all traffic laws and regulations

5.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Allow anyone other than authorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Use the vehicle for racing, rallying, or any competitive driving events
• Transport illegal goods or engage in illegal activities
• Exceed the vehicle's passenger or cargo capacity
• Operate the vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• Smoke inside the vehicle
• Transport animals unless prior arrangement is made
• Modify, alter, or tamper with the vehicle in any way

6. Insurance and Liability

6.1 Insurance Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance covering vehicle damage, third-party liability, and personal accident protection as required by Singapore law. Policy details including excess amounts and coverage limitations are provided during booking.

6.2 Renter Liability

You are responsible for any damage to the vehicle resulting from negligence, prohibited use, or violation of rental terms. The insurance excess amount will apply to claims, and you may be liable for costs exceeding insurance coverage.

6.3 Accident Procedures

In case of accident, theft, or damage, you must:

• Contact emergency services and police immediately
• Notify Aurelion within 24 hours
• Complete an accident report form
• Obtain contact information from other parties involved
• Not admit liability or make settlements without our authorization

7. Vehicle Condition and Inspection

7.1 Pre-Rental Inspection

Before departure, we conduct a thorough vehicle inspection with you present. Any existing damage is documented in the rental agreement. You should inspect the vehicle carefully and report any concerns before accepting it.

7.2 Return Condition

The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as provided, accounting for normal wear and tear. You are responsible for any damage, scratches, or mechanical issues arising during the rental period.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

8.1 Cancellation by Renter

Cancellation policies vary by vehicle program:

• Classic Touring: Full refund if cancelled 48 hours before rental start
• Sports Grand Touring: Full refund if cancelled 7 days before rental start
• Collector's Reserve: Full refund if cancelled 14 days before rental start

Cancellations made within the specified notice period may incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total rental amount.

8.2 Cancellation by Aurelion

We reserve the right to cancel rentals due to vehicle unavailability, mechanical issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer an alternative vehicle or provide a full refund.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by Aurelion and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

Vehicles are provided "as is" with no warranties beyond those expressly stated in the rental agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by Singapore law, Aurelion is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from vehicle use.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid for the rental period in question.

11. Termination

We may terminate the rental agreement immediately without refund if:

• You breach any terms of this agreement
• The vehicle is used for prohibited purposes
• You provide false information during booking
• Payment is declined or insufficient
• The vehicle is endangered or at risk of impoundment

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes arising from rental agreements shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singapore courts.

We encourage resolving disputes through direct communication before pursuing legal action.

13. Amendments

We may update these Terms and Conditions periodically. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
